EcoFlow Smart Gateway (200A)
Product Description
The Smart Gateway is the simpler road to whole-home backup. It sits between the grid and an existing backup subpanel, hands it up to 200 A across six circuits, and switches to battery automatically when the power fails — without the wholesale panel replacement that a Smart Home Panel 3 install involves.

Gateway or Smart Home Panel 3?
Choose the Gateway when you already have, or are happy to add, a backup subpanel and want the switching handled cleanly with less disruption to your existing service. Choose the Smart Home Panel 3 when you want every circuit in the house individually metered and controllable from the app, and are willing to take on the larger install. Both are 120/240 V and both need a DELTA Pro Ultra behind them.
What you can expect during an outage
The transfer is automatic — no going outside to throw a switch, no starting anything. Per-circuit metering at 1% accuracy means you can watch where your stored energy is going from your phone and shed the loads that are not worth it, which is usually what decides whether a battery lasts one day or three.
Installation
This is licensed-electrician work that ties into your service entrance and is permitted in most jurisdictions. The NEMA 3R enclosure is designed for an exterior wall beside the existing meter. If you want help sizing the system before you book an electrician, call us on (619) 238-0205.
Where people use it

Common questions about the Smart Gateway
Scale. The Smart Gateway hands 200 A to an existing backup subpanel across six 60 A circuits; the Smart Home Panel 3 replaces that subpanel entirely with thirty-two individually metered and switched branches. The Gateway is the simpler, less invasive install; the Panel gives you far more control.
Yes — it works with the DELTA Pro Ultra and DELTA Pro Ultra X inverters, and with EcoFlow's PowerPulse EV charger. On its own it stores nothing.
Yes. It is a 120/240 V device, so well pumps, ranges and central air can be backed up, within whatever your inverter and battery capacity supports.
The enclosure is NEMA 3R and rated from −22 °F to 122 °F, so an exterior wall beside the existing service is a standard installation.
A licensed electrician. This ties into your service entrance, so it is permitted work in most jurisdictions — not a weekend project, whatever your comfort level with wiring.
Under 40 dB. Mounted outside, you will not hear it from inside the house — which is the point compared with a standby generator.
