How the talkgroup plan works

This rental runs on a monthly talkgroup access plan rather than a bundle of minutes. Every handset assigned to the talkgroup shares the same channel for the length of the rental.

One thing it cannot do: take a US phone number. A talkgroup has no number to dial, so if part of the job also needs someone reachable by an ordinary call, add an Iridium handset or the Inmarsat IsatPhone 2 to the order alongside the PTT radios.

What arrives
