Starlink Enterprise Terminal

The Starlink Enterprise is Starlink's kit for a permanent, professional install — a roof, a mast, a compound wall that still has to be carrying the dish in five years. It uses the same panel as the Standard; what changes is everything built around it: the power supply, the cable and the fixings.

The Enterprise is the Standard's panel, built for an install you only do once.

Starlink's own spec sheet gives the Enterprise the same dish dimensions, field of view, IP67 rating, temperature range, and wind and snow-melt figures as the Standard. What's different is the power supply, the cable and the fixings around it, not the connection itself.

  • Same panel. 594 x 383 x 39.7 mm, 110° field of view, IP67 Type 4 — identical to the Standard's sheet.
  • A different power supply. IP66-rated with its own dedicated earth terminal, built for a permanent outdoor or plant-room mounting.
  • A longer cable. 50 m in the box, for a dish that sits well away from the equipment room, against the Standard's short run.
  • Fixed, not portable. A power supply mount, four wall anchors and four screws are included — this is not a kit you pack away at the end of a job.
Who it's for

Same panel, different job

The Enterprise is for a fixed site that needs the install done properly once. It is not for a dish that might move, or a site on off-grid DC power without separate planning — for that, see the Starlink Standard or plan the power side at /off-grid-power/starlink first.

Strip away the power supply and cable, and the Enterprise is the same dish sold as the Standard: 594 x 383 x 39.7 mm, a 110° field of view, IP67 Type 4 rated, -30°C to 50°C operating range, 96 kph+ operational wind and up to 40 mm of snow melt an hour. None of that changes.

What Starlink's sheet does not give is a bare panel weight — only a package weight of 12.2 kg (27 lbs) for everything together. We won't invent a figure the manufacturer hasn't published, so treat the dish's own weight as unknown rather than assumed.

Standard vs Enterprise

How it differs from the Standard

The two share a panel. They do not share a job.

Put an Enterprise dish next to a Standard one and, cable off, you couldn't tell them apart. The comparison that matters is the kit around it. The Standard ships with a kickstand, a short cable and Router 3; the Enterprise swaps all of that for a Power Supply, Power Supply Mount, a 50 m Enterprise Cable, an AC lead, an Ethernet lead, and screws and wall anchors. It's a different answer to how the install gets fixed down, not to how good the connection is.

The real difference

The install is the product

Everything changed for the Enterprise follows one assumption: the dish goes up once, properly, and stays. The power supply is IP66-rated with a dedicated earth terminal — the kind of detail a compliance sign-off asks for on an outdoor mains connection. It's specified at 100-240V, 6.3A, 50-60 Hz: a mains figure, so a genuinely off-grid site needs the power side worked out separately, not assumed.

The 50 m cable exists because a professional install rarely puts the dish next to the rack — a roof or mast head is somewhere else, and 50 m covers runs the Standard's short cable was never meant for. The power supply mount and four wall anchors and screws are the last piece: fixings for a supply going on a wall and staying there.

The Enterprise box contains: Standard, Power Supply, Power Supply Mount, Enterprise Cable 50 m (164 ft), AC Power Cable 1.8 m (6 ft), Ethernet Cable 5 m (16.5 ft), Screws (4x), and Wall Anchors (4x). That's the full published list; if a part isn't on it, we won't tell you it's there.

Notably absent next to the Standard's box: a kickstand, and a router. This is a kit built to be wall- or mast-mounted from the start and fed into networking already on site, not to stand on a table and connect on its own.

Mounting and cabling

The power supply mount and wall anchors handle the power supply itself. The dish is separate: it needs a mount rated for the surface — pole, mast, wall or roof — and the Enterprise uses its own pipe adapter, not the Standard's, so don't assume interchangeability when ordering hardware. Service

Which plan it needs

The terminal and the plan are separate decisions. A plan is defined by region — how far it may travel — and monthly priority data, not by which model is on the wall. Mobility is included on every plan Satmodo sells, so a fixed Enterprise on a Local plan simply stays inside the region that plan covers.

If the site could ever need service across a border, a Global plan is the honest choice from day one — a regional plan used outside its region is not a slow connection, it is no connection. Compare allowances at Starlink plans.

No. Both sheets show the same panel dimensions, field of view and IP67 rating, and neither publishes a speed figure. Speed is a plan and site question, not something the power supply changes.
