Calls and Text Messages in Satellite Mode

Enhanced Safety Features
SatSleeve+ comes equipped with an SOS call button, and works even if the smartphone isn’t connected. The SOS button will make an outgoing call to a predefined number set by the user or receive an incoming call.

Thuraya’s reliable and uninterrupted satellite network enables you to stay connected via satellite mode anywhere under its coverage area across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Thuraya SatSleeve+ works either with a Thuraya SIM card or with a GSM SIM card from any of the 360+ Thuraya roaming partners worldwide.
Universal Adaptor
SatSleeve+ comes with a universal adaptor in the package that allows you to switch between various Android and iPhone phone models between 58 and 85mm in width.
Built-in compression
To increase the speed when loading websites, the SatSleeve+ can be used with 3 different access points (APNs). Also Select either high compression (no images will be downloaded for fastest website loading), and low compression (images will be compressed), or no compression (full website content will be loaded). Depending on your requirements, select the most suitable APN in the GmPRS settings on your Thuraya SatSleeve+.
Can I buy a satellite phone?
Yes you can buy satellite phones, we offer the best satellite communication options. Including Iridium, Globalstar, and Inmarsat. Satmodo offers satellite phones that work anywhere in the world.
Do I need to rent or purchase a satellite phone?
If you are needing a satellite phone more than 6 weeks out of a year we always suggest purchasing. This will save you money in the long run. If you are just doing a short camping, hiking and hunting, etc. We recommend renting the satellite phone.
Why do people need satellite phones?
If you are planning on going on a trip where cell service is not available or if you want to be prepared for the next natural disaster. Satellite phones work when nothing else does. If there is no power and no cell service your satellite phone will work. Making this the most reliable form of communication.
How quickly can I get a satellite phone?
Satmodo can get you a satellite phone or satellite internet SAME DAY! We do always recommend planning ahead of time to save money on shipping costs. However, we can get you your devices same day if need be.
Which satellite phone has the best coverage?
Satmodo only works with the best networks. Iridium, Globalstar, and Inmarsat all offer different coverage areas. The only network that has global coverage is the Iridium Network.
