EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra Inverter + 2* Battery
Product Description
One DELTA Pro Ultra inverter with two 6kWh batteries stacked on it, for 12kWh of stored energy. The inverter is the same unit used in every DELTA Pro Ultra bundle, so output doesn't change here: 7.2kW continuous, 10.8kW for brief peaks. What the second battery buys is runtime, not power. If you need more than 7.2kW running at once, no number of batteries gets you there — that takes a second inverter.

What the second battery actually buys you
The inverter's output ceiling is fixed at 7.2kW continuous (10.8kW briefly) no matter how many batteries sit under it. Each 6kWh battery is worth about 50 minutes of runtime at that full 7.2kW draw — so 12kWh runs a full 7.2kW load for roughly 1 hour 40 minutes, double a single battery's runtime. Drop well below that ceiling and the same 12kWh stretches out for hours longer. Recharging from solar is fixed too: at the inverter's 5.6kW input, a 12kWh bank takes a little over 2 hours to fill from empty in full sun — refill time grows with battery count just like runtime does.
Where this bundle fits, and where it doesn't
Two batteries suit someone covering a handful of essential circuits through a shorter outage, or wanting some headroom above the smallest single-battery setup without committing to a larger bank. It isn't a whole-home backup system on its own: automatic, circuit-level switchover during an outage needs a Smart Home Panel 2, which this bundle doesn't include. And if what you actually need is more power at once rather than more hours, this bundle won't deliver that — the inverter output doesn't change with battery count.
Common questions about this product
No. Output is fixed by the inverter at 7.2kW continuous, 10.8kW briefly at peak. Adding batteries increases how long you can run at that output, not how much you can run at once. Getting more power out requires a second inverter, which isn't part of this bundle.
Not with this bundle. Automatic, circuit-level switchover requires a Smart Home Panel 2, which isn't included here. Without it, this is a large power bank you switch over manually rather than a whole-home backup system.
At the inverter's full 7.2kW output, about 1 hour 40 minutes. Cut your load well below that ceiling and the same 12kWh will run lighter loads for many hours longer.
Yes. DELTA Pro Ultra batteries are stackable and the system is designed to scale from 6kWh up to 90kWh, so more batteries can be added to this inverter over time.
Solar, the grid, or EV charging piles. Solar charging runs through the inverter, which caps solar input at 5.6kW regardless of how many batteries are attached.
The batteries are IP54 rated, covering dust and splashing water, so they can take some exposure to the elements. That's short of full submersion protection, so still give them reasonable shelter.
