The Iridium Extreme 9575 Antenna Power USB Adapter H3AA1101 enables you to charge and power your Iridium 9575 satellite phone via a USB connection.  Unless you have this adapter, you won't be able to connect your satellite phone to an external antenna and charge your phone, which is essential for its operation. Having an extra Iridium Extreme 9575 Antenna Power USB Adapter in your bag in case of an emergency is always a good idea. Even if you have a power source nearby, you won't be able to charge your Iridium Extreme Satellite Phone unless you have this USB Antenna Power adapter or the USB Power Adapter for the 9575.

You can use this adapter to connect external antennas, AC/DC chargers, and solar panel USB chargers to your Iridium Extreme satellite phone. The Iridium Extreme standard package includes this adapter in the box.

When using your Iridium Extreme 9575 satellite phone to "Register" or "Place A Call," do not utilize the H3AA1501 adapter. Except if you have a separate external antenna connected. In the event that you do not have an external antenna attached to your satellite phone, this adapter will not allow you to register your phone or make calls.

 

The Iridium Extreme 9575 comes with two adapters, the charging adapter, and the antenna adapter. This adapter allows your Iridium 9575 Extreme to connect to the charger, to an external antenna, or to a USB data cable at the same time. Having the antenna connected will allow you to use the Iridium 9575 Extreme while it is in a vehicle or building with the right cable length
