SAILOR 4300 L-band is the first in Cobham’s Iridium Certus℠ Connected range of terminals. It is the perfect choice as either a high-performance, stand-alone terminal to upgrade your vessel communications, or as a dependable backup solution for your existing VSAT system.
Next Generation Satellite
Iridium Certus is powered by Iridium NEXT, a ground-breaking, global, L-band satellite constellation, featuring cross-linked LEO architecture that provides coverage over the entire earth’s surface. You are guaranteed a high bandwidth IP connection and up to three high-quality voice lines for global calling using the SAILOR 4300 provided onboard link.
Serious Applications
Available in two distinct configurations (bulkhead and 19” rackmount), the SAILOR 4300 offers the most reliable and robust connection to the Iridium NEXT satellite constellation with speeds fast enough for data-heavy apps including: video conferencing, multi-user Internet/VPN, telemedicine, as well as standard uses, like email, e-forms, and crew communication.
Operational Continuity
The SAILOR 4300 is designed to tolerate the toughest maritime situations. High reliability and low lifecycle costs are the norms due to high-quality construction that requires no scheduled service interval and no maintenance for at least the first 10 years after it is installed. However, should something go wrong, you have the full support of Cobham SATCOM’s Global Service Network to get you back online wherever you are.

Do I need to rent or purchase a satellite phone?
If you are needing a satellite phone more than 6 weeks out of a year we always suggest purchasing. This will save you money in the long run. If you are just doing a short camping, hiking and hunting, etc. We recommend renting the satellite phone.

If you are planning on going on a trip where cell service is not available or if you want to be prepared for the next natural disaster. Satellite phones work when nothing else does. How quickly can I get a satellite phone?
