This Cobham EXPLORERÂ 5075GX auto-acquire fly-away system is lightweight, rugged and portable. The terminal includes a fully integrated iDirect Core Module and is configured specifically for
operation on the Inmarsat Global Xpress® (GX) Ka-band network. Its user-friendly design allows operators with little satellite experience to access GX services within minutes.

Cobham SATCOM is an official launch partner for the new Inmarsat Global Xpress® Ka-band network. Inmarsat Global Xpress is the first high-speed broadband network to span the world.

Can I buy a satellite phone?
Yes you can buy satellite phones, we offer the best satellite communication options. Including Iridium, Globalstar, and Inmarsat. Satmodo offers satellite phones that work anywhere in the world.
Do I need to rent or purchase a satellite phone?
If you are needing a satellite phone more than 6 weeks out of a year we always suggest purchasing. This will save you money in the long run. If you are just doing a short camping, hiking and hunting, etc. We recommend renting the satellite phone.
Why do people need satellite phones?
If you are planning on going on a trip where cell service is not available or if you want to be prepared for the next natural disaster. Satellite phones work when nothing else does. If there is no power and no cell service your satellite phone will work. Making this the most reliable form of communication.
How quickly can I get a satellite phone?
Satmodo can get you a satellite phone or satellite internet SAME DAY! We do always recommend planning ahead of time to save money on shipping costs. However, we can get you your devices same day if need be.
Which satellite phone has the best coverage?
