Product Description
SPOT satellite tracking and messaging service, sending check ins, tracks and an SOS to emergency responders from well beyond cellular coverage.
The device sends preset check in messages, shares a breadcrumb track that family or dispatch can follow on a map, and carries a dedicated SOS button that reaches an international emergency coordination centre. It works with no phone and no cellular signal, which is the reason hikers, pilots, ranch hands and lone workers carry one. Tracking intervals and message types are what separate the service levels, so the plan should match how closely someone needs to be followed. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships. Within the SPOT Gen Tracking range this is the Extreme Monthly Plan option.
