The Lars Thrane LT-3160S Printer Adapter is a device that allows users to connect a printer to their Lars Thrane LT-3100S or LT-3100S-2 satellite terminal. The adapter is designed for indoor mounting and connects to the LT-3140S Interface Unit using a proprietary 4-wire CAN cable. With support for a wide range of printers and both Windows and Mac operating systems, the LT-3160S is an easy and convenient way to add printing capabilities to satellite terminals in remote locations. The Lars Thrane LT-3160S Printer Adapter is designed for use with GMDSS printers that have a 36-pin Centronics interface (as per the IEEE Std 1284-2000 and 1284-B receptacle connector standards). The LT-3160S comes with a 25m cable attached, allowing for easy connection to the LT-3140S Interface Unit. The wire designation for the LT-3160S is described in the provided table. Please note that the LT-3160S can only be connected to the LT-3140S Interface Unit.
