Inmarsat Land Xpress airtime for high throughput Ka band satellite broadband on land, aimed at sites that need office grade bandwidth well beyond the reach of fiber.
Land Xpress brings the same high throughput Ka band service ashore for mining camps, remote lodges, construction sites and disaster recovery. Committed information rates mean a site gets bandwidth it can plan around rather than whatever is left over. It is normally installed where fiber and cellular are years away or will never arrive. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $1.99 per additional minute, so there is no hard cut off in the middle of a job. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships. This tier is provisioned at 2048 kbps down and 1024 kbps up. Within the Inmarsat Land Xpress range this is the LX1 2048 DOWN / 1024 UP option.
