Product Description
Iridium Short Burst Data airtime for machine to machine telemetry, sending small packets from remote equipment anywhere on the planet.
Short Burst Data moves very small messages, typically a position report or a sensor reading, at a cost per message that works at fleet scale. Buoys, pipeline sensors, containers, generators and remote weather stations all report over the same network. There is no requirement for a person to be present, which is the point of a machine to machine plan. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $2.99 per additional minute and $2.99 per additional megabyte, so there is no hard cut off in the middle of a job. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
