Push to Talk works like a two way radio with no range limit, so a supervisor in one country can hold the same talkgroup as a crew several time zones away. A single press opens the channel to everyone in the group at once, which suits convoys, search teams, pipeline crews and disaster response where dialing individual numbers wastes time. Talkgroup size is defined by geographic area, and the plan you choose sets both the size of that area and the level of access for each radio on it. This plan includes 125 voice minutes every month. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $1.19 per additional minute, so there is no hard cut off in the middle of a job. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
