Iridium satellite voice and text airtime, carried on the only satellite network that covers the entire planet including both poles and the middle of every ocean.

Because the Iridium constellation sits in low Earth orbit and hands calls between satellites, there is no part of the map where the service simply stops working, and that includes open ocean, deep desert and high latitude ice. Calls connect from a handset such as the Iridium 9555 or Extreme, and text messages go out even in places where a voice call would be a struggle. The service is used by offshore crews, remote medical teams, expedition guides and emergency managers who cannot afford to be out of contact. This plan includes 125 voice minutes and 125 text messages every month. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $1.19 per additional minute and $0.99 per additional text, so there is no hard cut off in the middle of a job. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
