Inmarsat BGAN airtime for portable satellite broadband on land, running IP data and voice from a terminal that sets up in minutes.
A BGAN terminal opens like a laptop, points at the satellite and delivers an IP connection in a few minutes, which is why it is standard kit for broadcast crews and field response teams. The same session can carry email, file transfer, a VPN back to head office and a voice line. Terminals range from small units carried in a backpack to larger ones that hold a faster connection for a whole team. The plan is prepaid and stays valid for 6 months from activation, with no monthly invoice to manage. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
