Inmarsat BGAN airtime for portable satellite broadband on land, running IP data and voice from a terminal that sets up in minutes.
A BGAN terminal opens like a laptop, points at the satellite and delivers an IP connection in a few minutes, which is why it is standard kit for broadcast crews and field response teams. The same session can carry email, file transfer, a VPN back to head office and a voice line. Terminals range from small units carried in a backpack to larger ones that hold a faster connection for a whole team. This plan includes 100 voice minutes and 100 MB of data every month. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $1.25 per additional minute, $0.99 per additional text and $4.99 per additional megabyte. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
