The Icom FA-S103U is a quick-release antenna connector kit for the IC-SAT100 Satellite PTT radio.
Identical to the standard antenna, the FA-S103U allows you to quickly switch between the mag-mount AH-40 external antenna and the gooseneck-style antenna with a simple twist of the BNC connector.
This means the IC-SAT100 can clip in the BC-247 docking station for mobile use with an AH-40 external antenna then be quickly removed by the operator and returned to a hand-portable when they leave the vehicle. Or vice versa.
