Product Description

The bigger sibling to the Smart Generator 3000, built for when a week without sun meets a bigger station that needs feeding fast. It puts out up to 3.2kW on gasoline or 2.9kW on propane across two separate AC outlets, and it can DC fast-charge a compatible EcoFlow station directly — quicker than a normal AC recharge from a wall outlet or this same generator's AC side.

Specifications from EcoFlow's published product data and user manuals.

Two ways to charge a station

  • Standard AC cable: same speed as plugging your station into a wall outlet
  • Direct DC fast-charging (40-60V, 56A): for compatible EcoFlow stations, noticeably quicker than AC
  • Two separate AC outlets mean you can charge a station on one and run a tool or appliance on the other at the same time

Gasoline or propane

3.2kW on unleaded gasoline, 2.9kW on LPG. A 1.59-gallon (6-litre) tank covers the gasoline side; swap to a propane cylinder with no modification when that's what you have on hand.

Who it's not for

At 83.8 lb (38 kg) this isn't a grab-and-go unit for backpacking or a kayak — it's sized for a truck bed, garage, or RV bay. If you only need to trickle-charge a small station occasionally, the Smart Generator 3000 is lighter and does that job without the extra bulk.

Common questions about this product

Yes, through either AC outlet — a typical 12V compressor fridge draws only a small fraction of this generator's rated output, gasoline or LPG. Most owners feed a power station instead, though, so the station handles quiet, continuous appliance power while the generator itself only runs when the battery needs topping up.

Speed. Charging a compatible EcoFlow station through the 40-60V, 56A DC connection moves more power in than the AC input can manage, so the station gets back to full charge faster. Regular AC charging still works with any station you own; the DC port is the quicker option specifically for compatible EcoFlow models.

Yes. Switch to an LPG cylinder and it starts and runs the same way it does on gasoline, at a slightly lower rated output of 2.9kW versus 3.2kW on gasoline, with no tools or modifications needed to make the switch between the two fuel types.

Yes, up to the combined rated current of 26.7A on gasoline or 24.2A on LPG across both outlets together — that combined figure is the ceiling for the whole unit, not a per-outlet allowance, so plan your total connected load with that in mind.

No. It's a combustion engine carrying fuel, and airlines don't permit fuel-burning equipment of any kind in checked or carry-on luggage under any circumstances, no matter how thoroughly you drain the tank before trying to pack it away for a flight.

No. It's plug-and-play through its AC outlets or the DC charging cable, with no household wiring involved at any point. Just run it outdoors, well away from windows, vents, and doorways, the way any combustion generator needs to be operated for safety.
