Product Description
The SkyLink Battery Pack is a portable power source that enables connectivity for comms-on-the-move applications and uninterrupted communication in the event of power outages in remote or mobile environments. It is designed to provide a reliable and consistent source of power for communication devices, such as the SkyLink 5100 Antenna and the SkyLink 6100.
In addition to the tiered battery options, the SkyLink Battery Pack also has SOS communications capabilities. This means that it can send alert messages to monitoring software in the event of an emergency or power outage. The alert messages can be configured to be sent at selected intervals, so you can stay informed about the status of your devices and ensure that they are always connected and operational.
The SkyLink Battery Pack is designed with convenience and efficiency in mind. It has a push button on the LED panel that allows you to manually power the SkyLink Data Gateway on or off with ease. This feature is especially useful for conserving battery life and ensuring that your devices are only using power when they are needed.
Extended SkyLink Battery
The SkyLink Battery Pack is available in both standard and extended sizes. The extended battery has twice the number of cell packs as the standard battery, providing increased capacity and longer-lasting power. Both the standard and extended batteries include on/off, status, SOS, and vehicle ignition sense functionality, allowing you to manage power usage and ensure that your devices are always charged and ready to go.
In addition to the push button, the SkyLink Battery Pack also has integrated ignition sensing technology. This technology automatically disconnects power to the SkyLink at a pre-determined period of time, safeguarding vehicle battery life and helping to prevent power drain. This feature is especially useful for vehicles that are parked for extended periods of time, as it helps to ensure that the vehicle battery stays charged and is ready to go when you need it.
