Inmarsat BGAN airtime for portable satellite broadband on land, running IP data and voice from a terminal that sets up in minutes.
A BGAN terminal opens like a laptop, points at the satellite and delivers an IP connection in a few minutes, which is why it is standard kit for broadcast crews and field response teams. The same session can carry email, file transfer, a VPN back to head office and a voice line. Terminals range from small units carried in a backpack to larger ones that hold a faster connection for a whole team. This plan includes 250 MB of data every month. Additional usage beyond the allowance is quoted separately, so ask us before you go over if the month is running long. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
