The ACR AISLink CB1 AIS is approved worldwide and is an extremely reliable transceiver that incorporates a number of convenient user features. With an internal GPS antenna, which makes an external antenna optional, users are able to save time on installation while also saving space. Additional design features which offer further convenience include a small, rugged, and waterproof (IPx7 certified) design with low power consumption.
The AISLink CB1 also features NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 data output which allows for seamless interaction with navigation systems. The ability to place the transceiver in silent mode also provides both privacy and security as this enables users to turn off the transmission of identifying information while still seeing transmissions from other vessels with AIS.

Do I need to rent or purchase a satellite phone?
If you are needing a satellite phone more than 6 weeks out of a year we always suggest purchasing. This will save you money in the long run. If you are just doing a short camping, hiking and hunting, etc. We recommend renting the satellite phone.

If you are planning on going on a trip where cell service is not available or if you want to be prepared for the next natural disaster. Satellite phones work when nothing else does. If there is no power and no cell service your satellite phone will work. Making this the most reliable form of communication.
How quickly can I get a satellite phone?

Which satellite phone has the best coverage?
