Product Description
Inmarsat FleetBroadband airtime for maritime voice and broadband data, the long standing workhorse service for commercial vessels at sea.
FleetBroadband has been the standard maritime connection for years, running voice and IP data at the same time over a stabilized antenna. Operators use it for chart and weather updates, crew calling, engine and cargo reporting and remote support from shore. Plans differ mainly by the volume of data included each month, so a vessel can be matched to its real usage instead of paying for headroom it never touches. This plan includes 75 MB of data every month. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at $0.73 per additional minute, $0.33 per additional text and $14.16 per additional megabyte. The service runs on a 12 month term, billed each month. Coverage on this plan is global. A one time activation fee of $50.00 applies when the line is set up. Activation is handled by our team in San Diego, and we can have the line live before your equipment ships.
