That's right, pole to pole coverage in areas that other geostationary satellites like MSAT or others wont work. For those already using VHF, UHF or HF radios you can also connect them to the ICOM IC-SAT100 via an options for interoperable communications.
The new ICOM IC-SAT100 Iridium satellite radio will work on all the Iridium Global satellites Pole to Pole and will be available on the current North America and Global Unlimited Iridium PTT satellite radio plans.
