SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS
The SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS meets these requirements for all vessels over 500 GT to be outfitted with a Ship Security Alert System (SSAS). In the event of a pirate attack, you would use this system to notify your flag state’s administration. The alarms are completely silent, so there is no sound or visual indicator to give you away if you have activated the alert system.

Installs & Upgrades Made Easy
If you currently have a SAILOR TT-3000SSA, it has never been easier to upgrade. All of your existing SSAS alert and test buttons can be removed from the old legacy interconnection box and rerouted to the TCU for your SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS. The SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS comes with every cable and connector required, straight out of the box. Your standard connecting cable for the mini-C terminal is 30M in length, but you can successfully implement runs up to 200M.
FEATURES of the SAILOR 6120
- Multiple Address Functionality – In addition to the required flag state and vessel owner messages, you can send additional messages to other invested parties, like operator or crew family. You can have up to 6 separate addresses with a maximum of 128 characters.
- Remote Reconfiguration – New configurations are sometimes necessary, like if you need to change flags and therefore update the SSAS alert address stored within the terminal. This is made easy, requiring no crew interaction.
- Thrane 6194 Terminal Control Unit (TCU) – This is the key connection point for making operations easy. The TCU gives you access to new functionality with a range of LED indicators to tell operators the status of your program, as well as your Inmarsat and GPS connections. These are great features to have, especially if you are also using your SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS as a Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) carrier.
- SSAS Buttons – You can connect and separately monitor up to 6 SSAS buttons with the SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS.
