This Iridium certified antenna, by Hirschmann, is designed to deliver reliable Iridium network access and data call quality for the successful use of satellite communication technologies. The small size and high performance of the antenna, with a magnetic mount, is very easy to install in a location where only Iridium functionality is needed. It features a rugged, low profile housing and comes with 1.5m cable. The kit is supplied with an additional 3m cable extension.

The Iridium Certified Low Profile, High Gain Magnetic Adhesive Mount Antenna (2J6926MP) is part of our “Phoenix Series” and is designed to have full access to the Iridium satellite network (1616 – 1627MHz) with global M2M coverage for voice and data communication. This antenna is ideal for devices such as hand-held satellite phones, standalone transceiver units, monitoring devices in markets like automotive, transportation and any other voice and data communication applications that rely on signal strength, speed, and quality.

Integrating a hemispherical radiation pattern and RHCP, this antenna can achieve full spectrum signal quality with peak gains of ~4.5 dBic while rejecting multi-path interference resulting in optimal antenna performance.

Installation / Environmental

With a convenient peel-n-stick adhesive magnetic mount, this antenna can be simply installed to any metal surface (vehicle or metal building) without the need for additional grounding. The adhesive and magnetic mount is strong enough for long-term installations but also offers an easy option for temporary applications and relocation. We recommend installing this antenna with a clear line of sight and directed to the signal for the most reliable connectivity.

This low-profile antenna has dimensions of 80 x 76 x 27/30 mm and is manufactured with IP67/IP69 certified ABS UV stable material (available in black and white). ABS material provides durability and protection against indoor or outdoor environmental temperatures ranging from -40C to + 85C without compromising antenna performance.
