The GSP-1700 is the ultimate handheld portable satellite phone. Using the optional GIK-1700 installation kit, you can easily create a complete satellite phone system in your vehicle or vessel from the smallest car to the largest aircraft carrier. Antenna and cable length options were designed for ease of installation on land or sea – or simply use the phone hands-free with the optional industrial noise-canceling headset.

The GSP-1700 ensures communication never stops by providing redundancy communications in case of terrestrial network outages or unavailability. Powered 100% by Globalstar’s Satellite Network, users can make and receive phone calls, retrieve GPS location, and dial out directly to emergency services with locally based phone numbers (where available).

The new ergonomic design makes this handset convenient for keeping in contact with remote locations. The antenna communicates with the Globalstar satellite at elevations more than 10 degrees above the horizon. The Globalstar antenna rotates and stows into the handset for convenience when not in use.

An annual Network Maintenance Fee of $180.00 will be charged upon renewal for annual customers and a monthly Network Maintenance Fee of $15.00 will be charged after the first 6 months for monthly customers.

An activation fee may apply.

Early termination of the service agreement will require the customer to pay an Early Termination Fee in the amount of 100% of the outstanding balance of the contract, plus the full amount of any credits issued during the Term (including promotions).

Inbound Short Messaging included in all plans

Voice calls within Home Zone will be billed first minute then 30-second increments

Roaming and Long Distance Calls (outside of Home Zone) will be billed first minute then 60-second increments

Data calls will be included and billed in 15-second increments.

Subscriptions on the same annual plan and the same account will have the minutes pooled.

Unused airtime will not be rolled over to the next billing cycle.

Connect the included 4-in-1 USB cable (or any standard USB cable) to one of the XP-10’s USB output ports; Connect the other end of the cable to the device to be charged. Press the power button on the XP-10 to start charging your device. Unplug your device when it’s charging.
