Product Description

EXPLORER 8100GX Drive-Away Land System

The EXPLORER 8100 GX, manufactured by Cobham, gives users access to the world’s most advanced Auto-Acquire Drive-Away Land system to work with the lightning-quick Global Xpress satellite service, powered by Inmarsat.

Communication Continuity

Even when fierce winds shake and rattle your vehicle, or when people enter or exit your ride, the EXPLORER 8100GX keeps you connected with the unique “Dynamic Pointing Correction” system.  You can count on your antenna maintaining incredible accuracy as it automatically compensates for motion.

Cutting Edge Technology

The EXPLORER 8100GX boasts a swappable feed system.  That means users are able to switch between frequency bands (GX, Ku-band, KA-SAT) at will.  This gives you the full spectrum of service choices and the 8100GX’s lightning fast satellite acquisition which typically completes pointing in less than four minutes.
